Only sign up for this class if you have already completed the BLS Online Part 1, or plan to complete it before coming for skills testing.

 To obtain the Online Part 1 - Certificate go to---- https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls - HeartCode then purchase and complete online part for $36.00. Upon completion of the course print the certificate - unreinbursed by County of Los Angeles (bring to class) and schedule part-2 skills session. 

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.

For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential
(card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course. This would also include nursing students, EMT students and anyone that is interested in becoming a BLS Instructor.
